Canada’s North Vancouver now is promoting Dogsafe Canine First Aid, which teaches people with injured pets how to treat and stabilise them before taking them to a veterinarian. The program educates dog owners and dog professionals on what to do in any emergency involving a dog.
Its first Dogsafe Canine First Aid instructor, Robyn Andexser said: “I want people to understand the principles of canine first aid and to practise hands-on. “I have invested in the best curriculum and training equipment available, including life-like canine mannequins,” she added.
